In addition to serving as the Executive Director of SHAREing & CAREing, Markell Kleinert also serves as chair of the Flushing Hospital Community Advisory Board (CAB). Her prior experience includes eighteen years as the district manager at Queens Community Control Board 2 and nine years as the Queens director on the Mayor’s Community Affairs Unit. She also ran for the 23rd Council District in 2021.
