Thank you to everyone who came out to show their support at our Fourth Annual Queens Cancer Walk on Saturday, September 16th, 2017. We had a fabulous time at Phil Scooter Rizzuto Park (Smokey Park), walking for loved ones fighting cancer and for loved ones who will always be in our hearts. To open the event, Queens Borough President Melinda Katz sang the Star-Spangled Banner. And SHAREing & CAREing volunteers and staff gave out literature and educated participants on our programs and services. All proceeds from the walk benefit SHAREing & CAREing and our cancer support services, which serve the needs of cancer survivors and their families throughout New York City.
