New York City Motorcyclists Unite for the 2026 Bikers Against Breast Cancer Ride

Motorcyclists gathered for the 2026 Bikers Against Breast Cancer (BABC) ride in New York City, filling the streets with engines and purpose. This event, now in its 32nd year, brought together riders, supporters, and advocates committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. With a strong turnout from across Queens and the greater New York City area, the ride once again showed how a passionate community can rally around a shared cause.

This year’s event, held June 7th from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, drew a vibrant and diverse group of motorcyclists who rode in support of breast cancer awareness and critical cancer support services. Escorted by NYPD officers, riders drove through the boroughs, starting at Pig Beach BBQ in Astoria and finishing at Forest Hills Park.

The involvement of the New York City Harley Owners Group (NYCHOG) chapter played a key role in the success of this year’s event. Their leadership, organization, and enthusiasm helped create a seamless and engaging experience for all who attended. From coordinating logistics to fostering a welcoming environment, the motorcyclists of the NYCHOG chapter exemplified what it means to come together in support of a cause greater than themselves. Their dedication highlights the strong sense of community that defines the ride year after year.

At its core, BABC is about more than the ride itself—it’s about providing real support to individuals and families navigating a breast cancer diagnosis. The funds raised go directly to SHAREing & CAREing’s essential cancer support services, helping further our mission to ensure that patients receive the resources, care, and encouragement they need during one of the most challenging moments of their lives. The 2026 ride continued this important mission, reinforcing Bikers Against Breast Cancer’s lasting impact within the community.

In addition to the ride, attendees could also buy limited-edition Tenugui Towels to show their support. The towels were handcrafted by Japanese artisans as part of a collaboration with Keiko and Ruri from Tenugui Art. The towels commemorate the 2026 BABC event and can be worn as a bandana or head wrap, used as a back pocket cloth, or even displayed as wall art. All sales proceeds are donated to SHAREing & CAREing.

The staff and board of SHAREing & CAREing extend their deepest gratitude to everyone involved in making this year’s event such a success, including the leadership of NYCHOG Chapter #5002, led by Director Mark Sheldrake and Assistant Director Gary Kingston.

If you missed the ride, you can still make a difference—donate to the 2026 BABC fundraiser online now. Want event updates? Sign up for our email list to receive advance notice for next year’s ride and related news.
