The staff, board, and volunteers of SHAREing & CAREing are indebted to everyone who supported our cancer support services in 2019. We’ve made incredible impact in the Queens community, offering one-on-one counseling to those newly diagnosed with cancer, continuing our BEAT program, which provides mammogram assistance to the underinsured and uninsured, and providing breast cancer education at local schools though our Be A Friend To Your Mother program.

We could not have accomplished everything we have this year without the undying support and funding from the New York City Council. Council Member Danny Dromm, in particular, has been a long-time champion, and was awarded the SHAREing & CAREing Public Service Award this year.
