In a time when the need for blood donations is more critical than ever, NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens is hosting a life-saving blood drive on Monday, August 19th, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This event will be held at the hospital’s auditorium, located at 82-68 164th Street, Jamaica.
Sponsored by the NYC Health + Hospitals/HHS Office of Minority Health and the Sickle Cell Hydroxyurea Grant Project, this blood drive is an essential effort to support our community’s healthcare needs. Blood donations help save lives in emergency situations, assist in surgeries, and support individuals battling chronic illnesses like sickle cell disease and cancer.
