The 2025 Bikers Against Breast Cancer (BABC) ride, held on June 8th from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, was a tremendous success. This year’s event brought together hundreds of local motorcyclists from the New York City Harley Owners Group (NYCHOG) and surrounding areas, all to raise funds and awareness for cancer support services. The event was filled with great energy, amazing turnout, and an unforgettable atmosphere.

Founder Anna Kril expressed her gratitude for the event’s success, saying, “It was a successful and well-received event, great energy, and turnout!” The NYPD-escorted 50-mile ride began at Katch Astoria, in Astoria, and took riders through the boroughs, offering a unique opportunity to explore the city from the seat of a motorcycle. After the ride, participants gathered at Forest Hills Park for catered food, drinks, and music, making it a perfect day of community and camaraderie.
This annual ride is organized to benefit SHAREing & CAREing’s cancer support services and education programs. The event’s continued success is a testament to the unwavering support of NYCHOG, whose enthusiasm and commitment help to inspire everyone at SHAREing & CAREing each year.
“We are incredibly thankful for the continued support of our riders and the New York City Harley Davidson Owners Group,” said Kril. “Their spirit and enthusiasm make this event truly special.”
In addition to the ride, attendees were able to purchase limited edition Tenugui Towels, handcrafted by Japanese artisans in Nara, Japan, through the collaboration with Keiko and Ruri-san from Tenugui Art. These towels were designed in honor of the 2025 BABC event and can be used as a biker bandana, head wrap, back pocket cloth, or even displayed as wall art. All profits from the sales went directly to SHAREing & CAREing, making them a meaningful and stylish way to support the cause.
The staff and board of SHAREing & CAREing extend their deepest gratitude to everyone involved in making this year’s event such a success, including the leadership of the New York City Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) Chapter #5002, led by Director Al Caccamo and Assistant Director Mark Sheldrake.
