Meditation is good for health! In this workshop, held at the Elmhurst Branch of the Queens Public Library Adult Learning Center, our teacher Merryl Reichbach, LCSW, will help you relax your mind and body. Participants will have the opportunity to identify specific stressors and learn techniques to help experience calm, relaxation and a healthy perspective. Techniques we will learn include mindfulness meditation and guided imagery. All are welcome and the class is free. No previous experience is necessary.
Participants should consult with their physicians before undertaking any exercise, nutrition, or health-improvement program.
