Let’s increase feelings of relaxation, energy and overall well-being! Open to all. We will learn and practice simple stretches that feel great. You don’t need to have previous experience (or be someone who exercises regularly) to enjoy them and benefit. After our stretching, the presenter will lead us in a relaxing guided meditation. Come to relieve stress, and feel more calm and energized. Participants will learn stretches and simple meditation strategies you can do pretty much anywhere or anytime to help yourself calm down or increase your energy.
This workshop is part of our Elmhurst Branch of the Queens Public Library Adult Learning Center programming for the Department of Youth and Community Development’s Comprehensive Services for Immigrant Families. It will be presented by Merryl Reichbach, LCSW Program Manager for SHAREing & CAREing, Cancer Support Services.
