SHAREing & CAREing’s survivorship support group began over twenty years ago and brings together a strong, dedicated group of long-term cancer survivors on a monthly basis to discuss the issues and concerns that come up after treatment.
In this special support group meeting dedicated to stress, participants will have the opportunity to identify specific stressors and learn techniques to help experience calm, relaxation and a healthy perspective. Techniques we will learn include breathing exercises, mindfulness meditation and guided imagery. No previous experience is necessary. This group is for anyone who wants to become better able to manage stress and calm their mind.
